What this site collects
- Standard server records of the request: the page, the time, a rough location from the network and which browser asked.
- Anonymous counts of how pages are used, so we can tell which sections people actually read.
- Whatever you choose to put in an email, if you write to us.
What we do not see
Anything to do with buying. There is no checkout on this site, so no card details, no delivery address, no order history and no account of yours ever passes through it. When you follow a buy button you leave for our retail partner, and from that moment their privacy notice governs what happens, not ours.
Why we hold any of it
- To keep the site up and to see when a page breaks.
- To understand which swings and which notes people read, so the next ones are more useful.
- To answer you if you write to us.
How long
Server records roll over on their own within weeks. Email we keep while the conversation is live and for a reasonable stretch after, in case you write again about the same swing.
Asking us about it
Write to the address in the footer and ask what we hold, or ask us to delete it. Given how little there is, the answer is usually short.
